The Pennies 4 Pins Pledge drive is underway!  To pledge for your favorite bowler or bowling team please go to www.pennies4pins.com and follow the simple steps to help us keep our charity surf camps for medically fragile, special needs and at-risk youth going for another year.   Ocean Cure is an official non profit organization that provides free surf camps for medically fragile, special needs and at-risk youth.  These charity surf camps began 3 years ago in 2008 with 5 outreach camps including two surf camps for children born with HIV.  These surf camps were so powerful and successful that they kicked off our journey to grow our outreach program to what it is today.  2009 saw nearly 15 charity events.  This year, our program went off the scale with some 20 events, totaling over $50,000 in charitable surf camps for children with HIV, Juvenile Diabetes, visual impairments, autism, children and adults with spinal cord injuries, wounded veterans, orphans in India, children with CP, Boys and Girls Club and other at-risk groups.  We can’t do it alone, we need your help.  Please help us keep these camps going by making a pledge to your favorite bowler or bowling team at the Pennies 4 Pins website.   If you’ve been touched by one of our camps or know someone who has, if you’re a surfer who knows the healing properties of the ocean, if you’ve seen one of our surf camps, please help us by making a pledge at www.pennies4pins.com.  Bowling Day is September 19th!
