Governor’s Page Program August 10, 2010

North Carolina 4-H is excited to offer the opportunity to our 4-H’ers to serve as a Governor’s Page once again this year during National 4-H Week – October 4-8, 2010.    We are very excited to have the opportunity brought back to NC 4-H’ers.  Each applicant must be between the ages of 15 and 18 years old, and in good academic standing with their schools. Appointments are made on a first come, first serve basis. If appointed to serve during the school year, prior approval must be granted by the school.

All applications must be sent back to me before processing in the Governor’s Office. They are due in by August 25th in the BRUNSWICK COUNTY 4-H OFFICE. So please see the application attached if you are interested.   Please be sure to read over this as it gives very specific information regarding the pay for pages, meals, and lodging for each delegate.   If you need more information on the program and specific requirements, please see their website at:  http://www.volunteernc.org/programs/pageProgram.aspx

You can view the application at: http://brunswick.ces.ncsu.edu/files/library/10/gov%20page%20application.doc
