Looking for something fun to do for the entire family?  Look no further.  Join the wildlife scavenger hunt at the Cape Fear Wildlife Expo, March 20 (9am – 7pm) and March 21st (9am – 5pm), Coastline Convention Center in Wilmington.

From fish to forests, this hunt will unveil some interesting facts that even the seasoned sportsman may not know; offer some fun facts for the kids; and reward each child for their efforts.  Come check out “Henry”, the 21 pound rat; discover which world records North Carolina holds related to wildlife; learn how much one deer can eat in a year, and much, much more.  4-H summer camps, geared to the outdoor enthusiast, will also be on site, offering to sign up kids for a few weeks away and memories that will last a lifetime.

Two hunts have been developed  – one for 10 and under; another for teens, tweens, and parents that may soon discover they too have a lot to learn.  Pick up your free scavenger hunt kit at the Information Desk when you arrive; hunt the Expo, then turn in your catch for fun and prizes!  See you there!
