Project Learning Tree (PLT) is an award-winning environmental education program designed for teachers and other educators working with students in pre-kindergarten through grade 12. PLT uses the forest & trees as “windows” into natural & built environments, helping people gain an awareness& knowledge of the world around them & their place within it. It is a source of interdisciplinary instructional activities & provides workshops & in-service programs for teachers, environmental educators, & youth leaders. PLT prepares students to make informed decisions management practices &resource use by stressing how to think about the environment, not what to think.Visit: http://www.ces.ncsu.edu/forestry/plt
