Project Record Book Workshop October 19, 2009

On October 30th, Brunswick County 4-H will be offering a project record book workshop from 2-4pm at the Cooperative Extension office (building N of the County Government Complex).  This workshop will be for ages 5-19 and will give step by step examples of how to put your project record book together.  We will have tips, a “question & answer” session, help you write your 4-H story, show you the breakdown of the score sheet, and work on scrapbook pages.  4-H Project record books will be due February 1st, so this is a good opportunity for youth to get a head-start and have some hands-on help experience.  If you have done anything with 4-H throughout the 2009 year, this will be a great workshop for you to attend.  Even if you are new and looking to join 4-H, this will be a good workshop to attend to learn about what information you’ll want to gather throughout the 2010 year.  4-H Project Record books compete in district and state contests and allow youth to enhance their writing skills, showcase their participation in the programs, and receive awards.  Please register for this event by October 26th by calling the 4-H office at 910-253-2610.

You can join the 4-H community today.
