YOU!  Everyone was a winner at the 2008 Brunswick County 4-H Achievement Banquet held on Monday February 16th, 2009 at the Cooperative Extension Office in Bolivia, North Carolina.  Everyone who participated in the 4-H Program received a Certificate of Achievement.  In addition, four youth were awarded the Outstanding 4-Her Award in their age category.  The Outstanding 4-Her Award is presented to the 4-Her who participated in the most activities during the 2008 year.  The winners were: Amber Yurgel, 9-10 year olds; Samantha Lawrence, 11-12 year olds; Perry Grosch, 13-15 year olds; and Justin Simmons, 16-19 year olds.

There was a new award for 2008 which was awarded to a new 4-H member who had made an impact in the program in a short amount of time.  The winner of this Excellence in 4-H Award was 13 year old Matthew Watson.

Perry Grosch received the Outstanding 4-Her Award in the 13-15 year old category.
